PRIVACY POLICY
Coop & Berry Land Prep TN, LLC runs this website, landpreptn.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We've tried to write it the way we'd explain it in person — plainly, without a lot of legal language.
Who we are
Coop & Berry Land Prep TN, LLC is an excavation, land clearing, septic, and site prep contractor based in Clifton, Tennessee. Our website is built and hosted on Wix. You can reach us anytime using the contact information at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
Information you give us. Our contact and quote form asks for your first name, last name, email address, phone number, the address of the project, what you need done (land clearing and grading, septic system, house pad or site prep, RV lot, driveway, utility trenching, drainage or erosion, or something else), and anything you want to add in the "additional information" box. You decide what goes in that box. When you submit the form, it comes to us by email.
We also use a separate New Lead Intake form. Those responses go into our own internal job-tracking tools so we can follow up and keep your project organized.
Live chat. There's a chat bubble on our site, powered by Wix Chat. If you start a conversation, we see what you type and any contact details you share with us there.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit — things like your general location, the pages you look at, how you got to the site, and what kind of device and browser you're using. Wix collects some of this as our hosting provider, and Google Analytics collects some of it for us.
How we use it
We use what you give us to do one thing: respond to you and do the work. That means calling or emailing you back, scheduling a site visit, putting together an estimate, and keeping track of your project if you hire us.
We use the automatic information to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are useful, which ones aren't, and whether our site shows up when folks search for the kind of work we do.
We do not sell your information. We do not hand it to other companies so they can market to you.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Wix sets cookies that keep the site working properly — things like remembering a session or making the chat bubble function. Google Analytics sets cookies that help us count visits and see which pages get used.
We also use Google Search Console, which shows us the search terms that bring people to our site. It reports on searches overall, not on you as an individual.
If you'd rather not be counted, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Google also offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics. Blocking cookies may make parts of the site work less smoothly.
Who we share it with
A few outside services handle information as part of running our site:
-
Wix hosts landpreptn.com and runs our forms, our chat, and our blog, so information you submit passes through their systems.
-
Google provides Analytics and Search Console.
-
Instagram supplies the photo feed on our site, and Google Reviews supplies the review widget. These are embedded from those companies, and viewing them may involve their own cookies and data practices.
These companies have their own privacy policies covering what they do with information. Beyond that, we share your information only with our own crew and the people working on your project, or when the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We keep inquiries and project records as long as we have a reason to — to follow up on a lead, service a job we've done, or keep our business records straight. If you ask us to delete your information and we don't have a business or legal reason to hold onto it, we will.
Children
Our website and our services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through our site, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site collects or uses information, we'll update this page and change the date at the bottom. It's worth a look now and then.
